An extensive review of Aperture, Bibble, Capture One, DxO and Lightroom. I’m not sure which I would prefer or if I could continue using a combination of Adobe Photoshop/Bridge/ACR. Aperture looks interesting especially for $80, but I’m not sure my Mac Mini has enough horsepower.
Ubuntu Dell 6000 Wireless Issue
Try the following:
1. Restart networking
command: sudo service networking restart
2. Restart network-manager
command: sudo service network-manager restart
3. Reset your wifi
command: sudo ifconfig athx up/down
sudo ifconfig wifix up/down
#2 worked for me. Note the wifi light doesn't work on using ubuntu, so if it doesn't work try Fn-F2 to toggle the antenna.

Sigma 400mm rechip for Sony Alpha →
I picked up a Sigma 400mm lens on Ebay and then the chip from the source mentioned in the article. My chip was a little longer than the one in the photo (more contacts.) I had to trim part of the retaining wall. In the end the rechip job worked and my lens does everything it is suppose to.
